In case you were wondering … the Roman Breakfast Cake from my #OnDessert column for @nytmag freezes well. The berries don’t do as well as the cake, but if you have leftovers, don’t be afraid to freeze them. And if you want to make the all- lemon/no-fruit version ahead, do it! My advice is to wrap the cake well, freeze and then let it defrost on the counter in the wrapping.
