This is the Mushroom-Bacon Galette from my new book EVERYDAY DORIE (coming out Oct 23/available for pre-order now). I made it in the Martha Stewart test kitchens and got to share it with the terrific cooks who work there. I used my Galette Dough – I love that foolproof dough – but it can be made with store bought pie dough. Once you’ve got the dough, it’s a 15 minute project. Perfect for when friends are around the table. Good for the holidays too, because it’s delicious hot, warm or at room temp.
