This is the latest recipe in my “On Dessert” column in @nytmag (link in profile) It’s the 1001 Feuilles from @maisonaleph in Paris. It’s layers of buttered and sugared phyllo dough with a center filling made with tahini and halvah. It’s a pleasure to make. And it’s fabulous! As is the story of @myriamsabet who created the Maison Aleph patisserie.
