What I love most about New York is that it's constantly reinventing itself. Unlike Paris, New York isn't really tied its past, so here you'll see new places and faces - and old favorites, too.
Whether it's the corner store, Whole Foods or the Union Square Greenmarket, New York has some of the best food shops anywhere. You just need to know where to look.
Pick your indulgence - cupcakes, brownies and endless varieties of candy or, my personal favorite, M&M's -- whatever you choose, there's more than one place to find it in New York.
What would New York be without a little glam and glitz?
New York is home, which means that I have too many pots and pans, not enough time to bake, cook or write as much as I'd like, and way too much to see and do, but I wouldn't trade it for anything - except maybe Paris.
Gotham stories, Big Apple goings-on and the occasional Runyonesque character, everything that makes New York such a great - and surprising - place to live.
