There must be a lot of happy people around the world, because over the past few days a lot of bakers shared cookies with family and strangers, farmers, teachers, neighbors and more. It’s all part of the #cookiesandkindness project and you can be part of it too.
While I was creating the recipes for Dorie’s Cookies, I shared everything I baked, as I always do. But there was something about cookies. Everything we bake and share makes people happy, but cookies seem to find a deeper, more special soft-spot in so many people.
As I’ve said: Give a Cookie – Get Joy!
It works every time and so, to bring more joy into the world, I’m encouraging you to bake cookies and share them and then to post what you’ve baked and shared. Tell us how you shared your cookies. Encourage others to do the same. And tag your posts with:
I’ve posted several recipes from Dories Cookies for you bake and share. And I’ll be posting one recipe with a special theme every month. This month the theme is Back-to-School and the recipe is Two-Bite One-Chip Cookies.
Of course you can bake and share any cookie you love. Bake what you want and please tag me so that I can find you. Here’s what a few of the #cookiesandkindness bakers have shared – I’ll be reposting pictures to my Instagram and putting up more in posts during the week (and weeks and months to come). Join us! And bake cookies!
